im just too lazy to blog during weekdays. i reach home everyday at around 8+ and all i want to do is to lie on my bed n sleep. hahaha
actually, this week has been a busy week for me. i ot almost everyday.
anyway, i've slowly starting to pick up the new stuff i learn at work. im lucky that everything has been going rather smoothly, at least no major hic-cups so far though. haha.
colleagues are quite nice n all. we even have extended lunch these few days! manager had lunch appointment and so i went lunch with other team colleagues. so coincidentally one of them drove to work, so the other 4 of us took a ride to parkway! haah.
and yesterday, manager is kind enough to give me a treat to sakae sushi! we took mrt to bugis for lunch. haha.
they will venture out for lunch whenever workload is not heavy coz theres nothing much to eat there. lol.
ok, back to why i have been busy lately.
apart of the ot, i've been meeting the usual for the past few days after work. to accompany lj to see car, to go vivo to redeem my adidas voucher.
was supposed to watch narnia with roy n abby at vivo. we bought the tix already then i decided not to watch coz i am damn tired. haha. so in the end, we sell back to gv. all of us were quite surprised that they are willing to take back the ticket and refund us the money. hahahah.
quite lucky there, but we werent that lucky when we went to levis trying to redeem the $150 voucher dear gave me as birthday present last year.
i've all along thought it was valid for a year until dear told me to double check again when we are there. then i realised its actually valid for 6 months and it has already expired afew days ago!
nevertheless, i ask the staff if i can still redeem, and also told them that i just came back from overseas and din realised it has already expired.
the guailan staff told me that no, we dun renew voucher.
actually its the staff's attitude and face that irritates me. but i was so tired that day that i dun even bother to argue with him. lol.
anyway, i called levis at tamp mall the next day and told them that i din realised it has expired as i just came back from overseas and would still like to redeem this voucher though it has expired for afew days. if its possible, i'll be down tml to redeem.
anyway the staff said they cant, but i told her to let me speak to the supervisor or manager so that they can better understand my plight.
so the kind supervisor said she will call the office and ask. i told her to please try to persuade them as its a $150 voucher!!
luckily, they agreed to let me redeem the next day. hahaahaha!
and so, i went down yesterday and got myself a new pair of jeans!
on a sadder note, just the start of this week, i saw a notice on the lift's wall stating there have been several suspicious characters loitering around my block and therefore everyone should do a part to keep a vigilant watch and call the police immediately and be more careful.
never did i expect that afew days later, just on thursday night when dear n me return home, my mom came into my room n ask me to be more careful, and not to share lift with anyone when i go home at night as there has been a robbery last night at 9+pm and the woman was sent to hospital.
there wasnt much details available until yesterday morning when there is another notice at the noticeboard this time, saying a malay lady with her less than 1 year old girl took a cab back and alight at the roadside next to my block, and a malay man in his 20s dashed across the road and snatch her bag.
in the struggle, the child was pushed down the drain n the woman got slightly injured or something, and the ambulance came n took them to the hospital. the woman was in absolute shock, so shock that she dun even remember her own house number. -.-
anyway, the passerbys gave chase but they din managed to catch him as he run too fast.
so lj were saying, must be several ahpeks or uncles try to run thats why cannot chase. lol.
i was quite surprised that a robbery took place at 9pm! moreover my block is facing the road and all, and 9pm is still quite early n not nearly as quiet as midnight or something. of coz there is never a good time, or early or late time for a robbery to take place. but 9pm is really consider early.
somehow my block became one of the unsafe area. just start of this year, or maybe the end of last year, there was a case of flasher too.
or maybe its the whole stretch, the block 217 n some other blocks have also robbery cases, fighting cases blah blah. its just afew bus stops away from my place.
so i better be more careful when i come home at night.

i wasnt assigned to this desk initially as jayce is not yet moving to another team when i report for work. but we changed desk on tuesday as she is going on leave and when she is back next week, she will be reporting to the other team.
