we (i mean they) had some gambling activities, watching dvds etc. lol.
though it might be a little boring, but at least we dun have to get squeezed like sardines if we were to go out. hahaha.
old already, no longer have the urge to go to crowded places. lol.
the usuals went ikoi on new years day for dinner and also to meet up with wendy for her advanced birthday.
on top of the usual plate of sashimi, we ordered another 10 ppl worth of salmon, but only 4 of us (ryan, ling jian, dear n me) eat them. of coz, me n ling jian ate most of the salmon lah. haha. we simply love them.

after that, the 9 of us (wendy went off first) went to kallang leisure park for alien vs predator 2.
the cinema is under their own management, but the design n even the internet booking system is the same as cathay.
the only funny thing is that, even if u book online using ur card, u have to collect the tix an hour before the showtime, otherwise the system will automatically cancel ur booking without charging u of coz.
luckily, we still managed to get the tix though we arrived 30mins earlier. the theatre is quite empty, i guess not many ppl know about the cinema.
anyway, avp2 is quite ok. though the camera is probably too near to the cast, so some scene u cant make out whether which is alien, which is the predator.
but i think its something new as they now involve more human. LOL. if u catch the show u will know what i mean lah.
dear is getting suay nowadays..
yesterday while we were heading home with ling jian after some pool session at katong (were supposed to play cs, but the cybercafe quite problematic, the steam keep prompting us for the password). and yes, i play cs lah. my last play was 6 years ago, before i got together with dear. i was a free frag back then. haha. but during xmas, as the boys wanna play cs, so i got no choice but to eng siew them.. hehe, they were rather impressed i guess. dear mentioned that i improved alot despite i din play for 6 years n i was a free frag last time. at least this time i got kill ppl ok, at crucial times too! haha.
anyway back to the topic.
after sending ryan back, we took the simei route. luckily dear was driving rather slowly as the 3 of us were chatting. then there was a roadblock infront after the bend. both of us panicked as we din wear our seat belt!
both of us tried to wear our seat belt clumsily and have difficulty in buckling and dear even have to change gear, hold the steering wheel. lol.
it was actually quite near and the policeman can actually see that we r trying to buckle our seat belt. haha. n dear cross handedly tried to unwind the window n shift the gear. hahahaha.
ling jian still relac lah, din even bother to buckle the back seat belt. lol.
luckily the police close 1 eye lah. just shine the torch then let us go. if not i think both dear n me will get demerit points + fine. lol.
it was a weird place for a roadblock anyway... that route is not exactly well traveled.
as dear said, there were actually warning signs.. coz as we were sending ryan back, we saw 2 police cars n 1 police pickup already. hahaha.
and just now, dear, me, kel n ling jian were sitting at ling jian's house void deck. a police car came for routine check. lol.
so, got our ic, name, address copied as part of the routine.. as usual, i din bring ic lah. hahaha but its ok wan lah. they just call back to the hq n check will do.
anyway the policeman also quite nice lah. he even asked kel whether is the swift his, ask him how much, its a good car, his wife like it alot blah blah. haha.
then as dear bought some tools for his work earlier on, the policeman asked him whats that, n dear showed him his sia staff id. lol. then the policeman say next time at night dun bring out such things as its considered as dangerous weapon. lol.
quite happening hor. hahahaha.
very quickly, i will be off to bkk in another 5 days! shopping time!!! but im broke. LOL.
oh yes, wendy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! glad u like ur presents! hope all ur wishes come true!!
